Welcome to the Astra DEX user guide. Astra offers a novel platform for users to engage in secure and efficient cryptocurrency trading. Its initial build will offer both a liquid DEX and liquidity pool supplying.

This comprehensive guide is designed to walk you through the key functionalities of our platform, including swapping currencies and providing liquidity to pools. Each section is accompanied by detailed descriptions and visual aids to help you navigate the interface with ease.

Swapping Cryptocurrencies

On the initial swap screen of Astra DEX, users will see a prompt indicating that no wallet is logged in. To begin the process, users need to log into their wallet by clicking on the wallet icon located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

After clicking the wallet icon, users are taken to the wallet selection screen. Here, they can choose from a variety of popular wallets, including Metamask, Safepal, and WalletConnect. Users should select their preferred wallet to trade with on Astra DEX. For more information on setting up your wallet, follow this link.

Below is a list of WalletConnect compatible wallets:

Once logged in, the screen updates to reflect the connected wallet. The wallet address will be displayed at the top right corner, confirming a successful login. Users are now ready to proceed with swapping currencies.

Once the user has added their wallet, they are ready to interact with the Swap and Pools features on Astra. First, the Swap function. 

In this example, the swap screen shows a trade of 50 $AMB for 20.8498 $USDC. Users need to fill out the swap details, ensuring the correct currencies and amounts are selected. After filling out the fields, users must click on "Confirm Swap" to execute the trade. This action will initiate the transaction process. Below is the final Confirmation Screen before the swap is initiated:

Once the swap transaction is submitted, the screen updates to show the transaction's pending status. Users can view the transaction details on the blockchain explorer by clicking the provided link. This screen confirms that the swap request has been successfully submitted and is awaiting confirmation. This is shown below:

Supplying Liquidity Pools

On the liquidity providing screen, users can input two currencies to create a liquidity pair. In this example, the pair consists of $AMB and $USDC. Users may need to approve the use of each currency in their wallet before proceeding. This approval ensures the platform can access and utilize the specified currency.

After approving the use of the currencies, users can press the "Supply" button to add their assets to the liquidity pool. This step confirms their contribution and provides liquidity to the selected trading pair on Astra DEX.

Once the liquidity is successfully supplied, the liquidity pool appears in the "Pools" section. Here, users can see their contribution and manage it by adding or removing liquidity as needed. This section provides a clear overview of the user's active liquidity positions within Astra DEX and ensures your transaction was successful.

By following this step-by-step guide, users can efficiently swap currencies and provide liquidity, enhancing their trading activities on AirDAO’s ecosystem. This is a launch version of Astra that will have many more features coming including P2P trading, $AST token staking, and single-sided liquidity provision.
